Show Me Your MuMu
A White Box
Located directly off of the bustling thoroughfare of Venice's Abbot Kinney, the Show Me Your Mumu flagship creates a seamless blend between the playful nature of the brand's fabrics and prints and the architecture. The white-washed backdrop sets the stage for the clothes to be the star while the shopper experiences various whimsical vignettes through a network of ropes and swings. The hanging system is comprised of a custom pulley which was detailed to allow for seasonal stock variation and a flexible infrastructure for display.

The very small footprint of the store required creative "out of the box thinking" in terms of how traditional programatic elements, such as dressing rooms and points of sale, may be incorporated into the design rather than cast to the side.
It is through the execution of this programatic layering and flexibility that the store becomes a space of transforming elements which cater to both the ever changing stock as well as the functional requirements.
